Candace has shown locally in galleries and storefronts throughout Salt Lake, and was commissioned to complete a painting for a local pizzeria where the piece still hangs today.
She has finally been able to move from an apartment in the city to a little neighborhood street, where she resides in a 1929 bungalow with her son, boyfriend, and armful of furry and scaly animal companions.
Candace finds inspiration in all forms of flora and fauna, children’s literature and fairy tales, historic fashion and lifestyle, romanticism, the Victorian era, and great artists of the past. She enjoys working with all mediums and is a self-taught artist.
